GlassDrive doesn't copy or upload anything. It works directly on your files, so every change shows up in Finder immediately. Stars are saved as Finder tags too.
Activity & Revert

Renamed the wrong thing? Moved a folder by mistake? Every change is listed with a Revert button, and deleted items always go to the Trash first.
Confidential
Private folders, properly locked.
Create password-locked folders encrypted with AES-256, or lock an existing one. They lock automatically when your Mac sleeps or the screen locks. Wrong passwords are slowed down and logged, and GlassDrive never stores your password.
Storage Offloader
Space back, without the hunting.
Pick how long a file can go unopened, from a week to two years. Choose which kinds of files count. Protect anything with ⋯ › Never offload. Review the list, then offload to the Trash, and undo with one click.
App Controls
Every app, under control.
See what's installed, how big it is and what's running. Install from a .dmg or .app in one click. Uninstall moves the app and its leftover files to the Trash, and you can put them back.
Appearance
Light, dark and glass.
Follows your Mac's light or dark mode. The frost slider takes the glass from completely clear to fully frosted. With macOS Tahoe or later, GlassDrive uses Apple's own Liquid Glass.
Ultimate
Custom backgrounds.
Choose any photo and GlassDrive puts it behind the glass. Scale it up or down until it sits just right. It's the one thing Ultimate adds: a little more customisation, and an extra high five.
