As companies grow, they love to raise prices on the people who got them there. As GlassDrive grows, we may add features that lead to higher prices for new customers. (Cheeky, we know.) But the customers who stick with us are the ones we care about most.
From the day you subscribe, your price will never go up. It only drops with loyalty, for as long as your subscription doesn't lapse.
Your account keeps a record of the price table you joined on, so the guarantee follows you to any Mac.

Turning off auto-renew doesn't reset anything. Your loyalty price and guarantee carry on as long as you renew by your billing date.
We remind you, twice
7 days before your billing date we'll email you and show an alert in the app, with the price you'd keep if you renew and the price you'd pay to come back if you don't.
Miss the date and it resets
If your billing date passes without a renewal, we'll let you know by email and in the app. Your loyalty price and guarantee end, and coming back starts at the price at that time.

You pay with money.
Not with your privacy.
Many apps like this are “free”, but they aren't really free. They take advantage of free subscriptions to collect your sensitive data, then sell it to data brokers to make a profit.
Charging a small fee gives us something back for our work, so we earn from your money, never from your data.
Your data's safety and secrecy is our number one priority. Your files never leave your Mac, we don't track you, and the only thing we sell is the app.

Why do I need an account?
Your account keeps your free trial, your locked-in prices, your loyalty progress and your referral rewards safe, even if you reinstall or move to a new Mac. You sign in with a code we email you, so there's no password to remember.
How does the 14-day trial work?
You get 7 days as soon as you create your account. After signing in, the app asks how you found out about GlassDrive. Answer it (any answer counts) and you get 7 more days, 14 in total. No card is needed and nothing is charged when it ends.
How does the price drop?
Pro is £3.99 your first month, then £3.00, then 10p less every two months you stay subscribed (£2.90, £2.80 and so on) until it reaches £1.99, where it stays. Ultimate starts at £4.99, then £4.00, and drops the same way to £1.99.
How does the yearly plan work?
You pay for a year up front and get 20% off what those 12 months would cost monthly. Pro: £27.59 for year one, £21.19 for year two and £19.10 a year after that. Ultimate: £37.19, then £30.72, £24.96, £19.88, and £19.10 a year after that.
What does committing early do?
If you subscribe monthly during your free trial, your first month costs 20p less (£3.79 on Pro, £4.79 on Ultimate). You aren't charged until your trial ends, and you can cancel before then.
What if I turn off auto-renew?
Nothing changes until your billing date. We'll remind you 7 days before by email and in the app. Renew in time and you keep your loyalty price and guarantee. If the date passes, they end, and coming back starts at the price at that time.
Do free months from referrals lower my price?
No. Free months are a break from paying. Your loyalty price drops are counted on paid months only, and carry on once you're paying again.
Do you have a plan for businesses?
Yes. Business is £4.99 per person a month (or £47.90 a year, 20% off) for teams of 3 or more. Everyone gets every Ultimate feature, the business gets one bill with VAT invoices, and you can add or remove people any time. Your per-person price never goes up. Email us to set it up.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Email us within 14 days of a payment and we'll refund it.
