Your files stay on your Mac
No uploads, no cloud copies, no scanning. Your files, file names and folders never leave your Mac.
GlassDrive Beta
Privacy.
Privacy.
That's the whole point.
GlassDrive is built so we know as little about you as possible.
No tracking in the app.
No analytics, no ads and no third-party SDKs in the app. This website uses no cookies: it only counts visits anonymously.
Only what your account needs
Your email, your subscription, and anything you choose to tell us (like how you found us or feedback). Anonymous crash reports can be switched off. Never your files or your Mac's name.
Passwords we can't see
Confidential folders use Apple's built-in AES-256 encryption. We never store your password and can't recover it.
Hidden from Spotlight
Locked folders are excluded from Spotlight, so file names inside them don't show up anywhere else.
We never see your card
Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, a merchant of record. We receive only your email and order.
Why we charge.
“Free” apps often make their money by selling your data to brokers. We charge a small fee so we never have to.
